You might recognize him as the guy who rocked the Spidey suit in those awesome 2012 and 2014 Spider-Man movies. He also got some serious props for his roles in “The Social Network” and “Hacksaw Ridge,” even snagging nominations for big awards like the BAFTA, Golden Globe, and an Oscar.
He learned his acting chops at the University of London. Remember that play “Kes” back in 2004? He rocked it and scored Best Newcomer awards from both the Manchester Evening News and the Evening Standard Theatre.
He bagged a British Academy Television Award for his part in the 2007 flick “Boy A.”
He started dating Shannon Woodward in ’08, then got together with Emma Stone in 2011 during “The Amazing Spider-Man.” They called it quits in 2015. Later, he started seeing model Christine Gabel. Recently, he dated Alyssa Miller in early 2022, but they split in spring. He’s got a brother named Ben Garfield.
He acted as Anton in the 2009 movie “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.”
