Originally known as Charlotte Emma Aitchison, she gained fame as XCX, dropping hits like “!Franchesckaar!” and “Emelline” in 2008.
Back in 2008, she shared tracks from her debut album on MySpace.
She dropped True Romance and 14, scoring a Teen Choice Award nod.
When she turned fourteen, her parents gave her money to make her first album. By May 2022, she publicly acknowledged her relationship with George Daniel from The 1975. They got engaged in November 2023.
In the summer of 2012, she was on stage before Coldplay led by Chris Martin.
