Bonnie Wallace is the mother of Dove Cameron and Claire Hosterman. She is the author of The Hollywood Parents Guide and shares her knowledge through workshops, consulting, and speaking engagements aimed at helping parents of aspiring young actors.
Bonnie earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and later completed an MBA focused on Sustainable Business.
Before her current work, Bonnie spent over 20 years designing jewelry in India and running her own business. She also served for a decade on the board of a nonprofit theater group.
Bonnie’s husband passed away when Dove was 15. She raised her two children in Seattle, Washington, and remarried Simon Bate in August 2021.
While her younger daughter Dove is a Hollywood star, her eldest daughter Claire chose a different path outside the entertainment industry.
