She was born on 18th September in Portland, Oregon, United States of America. She grew up there and received her early education there. She is the oldest of her siblings. Jinkx enrolled in DaVinci Arts Center for her middle education. At that place, Jinkx came to know that she was non-binary. But Jinkx moved forward with this reality very well.
When Jinkx was only 15 years old, she performed in drag for the first time in a nightclub escape. Then after four years, she decided to move To Washington DC from Portland. Jinkx hides in Washington to pay her college fee. 2010 she graduated from Cornish College of Arts with a BFA in theatre.
She wanted to pursue a career in theatre because she has been multi-talented since childhood. That’s how I care you started as a drag performer in the industry. She then appeared as a lead dancer in the world’s largest drag Queen chorus line. This was also mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2012 jinx decided to start performing in different theatres.
Firstly she played the role of Mortiz in the Spring Awakening show; then she played Angel in the Rent shown. Luckily after that, she started in the title role of the famous show Hedwig and the Angry Inch. As the years passed, She became more talented by improving her inborn skills. 2013 she also starred in another famous theatre show, hairspray. The Musical as title name was Velma Von Tussle.
